they say it was a server glitch but it was really the negative energy from GD: P turning red hot like the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, located in the Soviet Union near Pripyat in Ukraine, and it exploded. Further explosions and the resulting fire sent a plume of highly radioactive fallout into the atmosphere and over an extensive geographical area which settled here in the lounge.

The admins, the gods of DU, reset the universe back a few minutes so that those of us logged on already did not realize what was happening and all seemed normal. Only those unable to log on realized the dire consequences of what really went down.
