Deleting my own account here at DU

I have written to the admins asking them to delete my account.

Is there any way that I can do this myself?

I tried to read all of the FAQs, but didn't see any advice about how to delete one's account and journal.

Any help would be appreciated.

2. From what I've seen, asking the admins to do it will take care of it.

I've seen people ask to do this in jest or as a dare, and get their wishes fulfilled. Surely a serious request will be taken seriously. Sorry to see you go, though :hi:

here for several years, and I think everyone has said something foolish several times. But, what's in the past is in the past. I doubt if anyone searches anyone's else's posts out to see if they said something silly. Just get on with business as usual.

If you think you are addicted, try setting a time of day to start posting. Like only in the evenings or something. Also, stay away from GD. That place is enough to make anyone want to quit.:scared:
