I have a MacBook and it has been running slow lately. And ideas on how to get it back up to speed? I know with PCs you can run the defragmenter, but is there something like that for Macs?

Luckily, our Mac has never slowed down like that... only the Toshiba seems to have that problem. Oh, and, he just said to add, he bought that as part of the AppleCare plan. So, if you don't have that, well, I don't know what to suggest!

I would start with opening Activity Monitor (Applications --> Utilities) and see if anything looks out of whack.
