Poll question: Where do your jeans wear out first? |
|
...Do you tend to be Bon Jovi in the knees, or frayin' at the cuff, or are yer underpants hangin' out the back? And is it a lifestyle issue?? :D

1. Usually the zipper and/or button. |
|
 My sister used to get "talky pants" when her jeans wore out---the knees blew out and they looked like smiling mouths. :P

2. Right in my "other" area. |
|
Jeans didn't use to do this when they were made in America. Foreign trousers are just not up to the seemingly enormous challenge presented by my crotch.

My fault for reading it. I thought DarkTirade would be the first one to post it, tho.

4. When I was working my warehouse job |
|
it would be on the right side, where I was always leaning up against the conveyor belt. :)
But for the most part either knees, or I'll rip a hole in the crotch/inside of the leg.

When I was working landscaping, all my jeans had a hole in the right knee. :)

9. Yeah, and mine wasn't so much a hole as a horizontal cut. |
|
Because the conveyor belt would sometimes poke off the edge a little bit and wear a straight line across my jeans. :)

If they can reinforce the knees, why not the thighs?

11. Mine get too short and tight. |
|
I'm sure that this is due to shrinkage and not weight gain. I'm sure of it. Certain. Maybe. Probably...

13. usually the belt loops spring first |
|
That's how I hoist them up and keep hitching them up throughout the day. After that, it's just a slow steady snag until bits of the waistband start to fray apart. And that's just usually when they're getting good and comfy, too.
Unless I blow a knee playing with the kids on the ground, which isn't uncommon either.
