FYI - no need for spoiler threads RE tonight's Oscars. |
|
Because the Oscars is the one and only non-sporting event event that broadcasts live on the west coast. (Because LA would become paralyzed if the Oscars were tape-delayed.)
I live three blocks from the Kodak theater, and the copters have been loud and overhead for about an hour now....I love my neighborhood.

2. Newp. Everything's covered by plastic canopies this year, and.... |
|
...apparently nobody stopped to consider what would happen when hundreds of people congregated under the plastic tents--there's no added ventilation, and the environs appear to be rather hot and muggy. Everybody's nicely styled hair is already beginning to droop.

The hair is requiring much product today.

4. I thought about this earlier |
|
just turn off the computer. You could post a "don't post spoilers" thread every two minutes, but some attention-desperate numb-skulled douchebag will post that "No Country for Old Men" did win Best Picture after all.
;-)
really though, it's just a matter of time

5. Nope--no spoiler threads needed. No delay for the west coast. |
|
LA does have its (wacky) priorities, after all. ;-)
