5. I got to wear a Stanley Cup ring once...

Mike Hartman had been an assistant coach for the minor league hockey team back in Charlotte, and was a 3rd-liner for the '93-4 New York Rangers.

After a home game, a bunch of the players and staff were hanging out at the sports bar that a friend owned. I strted talking to Hartman about the game, and before long he took off his Cup ring, and asked if i wanted to try it on.

I couldn't get over how heavy it was... damn.
