Should I inform the business I'm parked next to to secure their WiFi, or should I just enjoy the benefit. I have NO intention of disrupting their network, but others can, and given the opportunity, will. Guess I answered my question. I'll talk to 'em in the morning.

I had to read my boss the riot act to get him to at least put a password on ours, I think it would have been easier to get him to listen (My boss: What? Nothing bad can ever happen to our computers! They're macs!) if he'd found out strangers were using it.

That's just one tiny sliver of his vast cluelessness.

It's a small business. No huge IT department. I'll save my access records and show them I meant no harm, but others could.

7. I Don't Think Allowing Access To One's WIFI |
|
is a hacking risk if they have proper firewalls set up. In short, they can access the service but not your pc or server. In fact, I remember a movement trying to get people to share their WIFI. I do not have mine secured and neither does our neighbor and we often use each others (different providers) when one of ours is down.
