I blame my Led Zeppelin Calendar that has the numbers arranged Mon-Sun instead of the normal Sun-Sat. I really meant to invite people on the 19th of April for a small gathering of fun and festivities in the great first state - Delaware. I have the grill and perhaps plenty of Dogfish on hand too.

Sure, if she wants to spend about $2 she could take the DE turnpike but personally I'm a fan of Rt #9. Much more scenic and saves me $2.

7. I went to Wilmington last week and took Rt 1 out of Bethany

all the way to 95. That's the only way I know to get up there. :o

I paid like $6 in tolls there and back.

I understand that there is a pretty much direct shot from here to there. And I would have to get a motel room. So if anyone needs overnight crash space I'd have a room with two double beds. :)

23. Recovering from the annual disabilities conference

to be held the previous week in Waikiki.

Then, preparing for two of our national activists to show up for Jack Johnson's Kokua Festival, that week.

While in DC, however, I did discover that the hotel bar had Dogfish on tap! Defintely chalk that one up on the pro-Delaware side of the ledger, alongside tax-free shopping, the Fightin' Blue Hens, George Thorogood, and of course, Lynne herself. :loveya:

Plus, on my way up here to NYC, I found a workaround for that, um, not-so-nice Delaware feature: take the train! It stops right in downtown Wilmington, which, pretty much by definition, is only a few blocks from paydirt. :-)
