A shout out to Pacifist Patriot
I know many of you aren't as familiar with her as you are some other DUers, but she totally rocks. She's smart, very progressive, funny, and truly a very, very nice and generous woman. She also now likes cats, so that gives her extra points.

She's also a Unitarian minister and a terrific "poster child" for that spirituality path (my quite Conservative Dad was charmed by her). She officiated at my and Haruka's wedding in September, and she not only didn't charge us a fee and paid for her own plane ticket, she bought us a very nice wedding gift.

And, she can match Midlo in wine consumption. I've seen them both in action, so I know what I'm talking about.

2. She's an interesting woman to meet IRL
She's very professional and intelligent and poised... but underneath, she's as crazy as Midlo. I could see her getting arrested for an out-of-control Bunco night.

5. That's because most of them sink like stones. For example...
I deplored violence in GD-P so of course it died without so much as a whimper. Pity, I figured I was in for a good sound flaying.

12. If you want to get anybody to play in GD:P, it helps to use very short words.
I'm not saying that there are reading comprehension issues there ;) but if they can't tell on the first line what it is you're talking about and select a somewhat related talking point to yell at you in ALL CAPS!! they're not interested.

I think she was going to tell the kids she got to drive that instead of a Kia so they'd be impressed.

I'm still not sure how I got that for the compact rate with no reservation.

24. At the time my kids were arguing over whether the Mustang or the Ferrari was a better car.
Every time they saw a Mustang on the road they started the argument all over again. Needless to say I heard it alot and am very grateful that died a slow death. They pick the dumbest things to start fights over, I swear!

That was a Kia? I couldn't even remember what that was other than it was little more than a shoebox on roller skates.

It was funny: if you bought it from their website, it was almost twice as much as their ebay store. It's a place that specically makes pastoral garb. I need to Google. It was something like St. Clare's.

They also had other Celtic stoles.
