5. It's called "Triple berry cherry pie". Here is the recipe" |
|
1 package of refrigerated pie crusts 3/4 cup sugar 1/3 cup cormstarch 1 1/2 cups of fresh strawberries sliced 1 cup fresh blueberries 1 cup fresh resberries 1 tsp lemon zest 1 tbls lemon juice 1 egg white, lightly beaten 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
Preheat over to 375. Let pie crusts thaw a little (but not too much because then they'll stick). Combine sugar and cornstarch in a large bowl. Add strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, lemon zest and lemon juice and gently mix to coat the fruit.
Fold out one pie crust and line the pie plate. Brush the crust with some of the egg white.
Fold the cherry pie filling into the fruit mixture and then spoon the whole thing into the pie crust.
Take the remaining pie crust and cut into 15 strips. Lay 5 strips across the pie in one direction and 5 in the opposite direction. Take the remaining 3 strips and place end to end over the edge of the pie crust. Brush with the remaining egg white.
Bake for 60 minutes or untill the filling is bubbly in the center. Let cool a bit before you serve.
Enjoy!

you can substitute an equal amount of raw hamburger meat.
Most people don't know that.
