pink roses, pansies of various colors, tulips of various colors

2. Is there any dance form you enjoy particularly?

To watch or to perform myself? I like to watch people dance the tango, ballet, salsa, plus Broadway/Hollywood things, including Michael Kidd's choreography. To dance, I prefer most variations on folk and social dancing, such as English or Scottish country dancing.

3. Is there an era in art you enjoy more that others?

Late Medieval and Victorian.

I am just not interested.

I've never met a flower that I didn't like, but I tend to like the wildly outrageous such as Orchids and the very, very small flowers, that tend to be very beautiful when examined.

-- Pink tulips, with very long stems. A friend/colleague sent me a bouque of 25 yesterday for my birthday. :swoon:

-- I think hip-hop is gorgeous, fluid and expressive, but I love to watch ballet, too.

-- I love the late 40s/early 50s, especially. :)

-- Life experience itself alters my consciousness. I guess I wouldn't take any drugs, legal or illegal, beyond what I've already taken so far in this life. :shrug:

-- What particular life circumstance has taught you the importance of practicing (not just believing in) genuine compassion? (For me, it has been remembering my life before I was adopted at six years old. You're an extremely open-minded and compassionate person, Lioness, so I wonder how you came to be the way you are.)

I love clematis to look at, and freesia to inhale.

I've been taking a belly dancing class and I really like *doing* that. I just typed out a long long answer that I can summarize this way: I dig dancing.

Not really. I don't care much for modern but I think art is art for art's sake, right? Each piece to it's own.

I think I'd drop acid. I never did it when I had the opportunity and sometimes I wish I had - just to see, kwim?

OK I will: In your last round of 'lights: on or off' question you mentioned to me that you liked the lights ON because of the visual stimulation. I agree but have an additional question because it was what I thought of when I read your answer. Do you think it makes a difference whether you're with a girl or a boy? Because for me, I think that does make a difference whether I want those lights on or off, kwim?

sorry, not a big flower fan. Like the looks, but not the smells.

the one where women shake their butts a lot.

too hard to make a call here, since there are so many differences between the different types and I like things about almost all of them.

Very favorite is the peonie. I also like tulips and lilies.

1. If you like flowers, what are your favorite flowers? There are too many to choose from! Mostly daisy-types I guess.

2. Is there any dance form you enjoy particularly? To watch or to do? I like to watch those dance shows on tv, but could never do them!

3. Is there an era in art you enjoy more that others? Oh yes! Twentieth-century American art.

1. If you like flowers, what are your favorite flowers?
Anything that attracts hummingbirds, anything that smells good.

On plants - I love shrubs that get covered with small/smaller flowers like rosemary and Texas sage. Cut flowers - I like roses if they come from a garden (not hot house - not enough fragrance), carnations, daisies (which last forever as cut flowers), irises.

2. Is there any dance form you enjoy particularly?
Most ballroom especially Cha Cha (especially dancing to Santana "Smooth" - if that's what's playing, I don't want to watch, I want to do), Foxtrot, Waltz, East Coast Swing (but not West Coast) and Lindy, and Nightclub Two Step.

3. Is there an era in art you enjoy more that others?
Renaissance

4. If you could take an illegal drug, and it had NO negative health consequences, which one would you choose to take?
I've actually already tried most of the ones I'd ever want to try.
