the wiseandwonderful Mr. K was explaining to me today that young women are sexy, were as only an older woman (35+) can be sultry

Smoky hot sultry.

He was telling me how good I look at 53 which started the conversation.

His premise is that woman think they are 'over' when in reality they're just getting started.

Your thoughts?

I'm 52 and know it takes a little more work nowadays (but it's worth it!). :)

IMHO, sexy and sultry are both doable at any age. Sexy is a little bit more about attitude, and sultry is a little bit more about the looks you were given. For instance, my mom was an absolutely beautiful woman, but she had a baby face and would never have been considered sultry.
