I did a little experiment about that once.
Didn't turn out too good for the subject, but, that't how we learn, right?

With the exception of certain Republican politicians. I say we find out what planet they're from, and nuke it from space. It's the only way to assure our continuation as a species.

I think shallowness and self-absorption are the most consistent traits among people in general.
Edited to add greed.

Perhaps psych. patients avoid marijuana because they know they should not use it with RX medications. Alternatively, maybe after having their emotional problems treated, thay simply don't feel a need to use marijuana.

10. I'm surprised kindness has the votes it does; it's out there but not in predominate numbers |
|
a drive round the freeways & highways of America rules out kindness all the further while ruling in 'stupidity'. I say: Other, people have to be grounded somewhere to even survive, but I see allot of rudder-less drifting as though they have no center
We are talking in the aggregate of course, as all my immediate friends and associates are less so by design. And maybe that's what is lacking...a design

36. Total lack of honest self-awareness and self-examination. |
|
People live so blindly, lost in an abyssmal combination of fear and stupidity. So few people stop to think, to ponder, to wonder about their own actions and motivations. I don't know if it's lack of how-to knowledge or lack of time or lack of interest or what but until it changes, I don't think meaningful change in society at large is possible.
*sigh*
