Damned cube rat - STFU!!!111!!1
There is a woman who sits a few cubes away from me who talks ALL DAY - about crap, nothing work related - just verbal vomit.

It's always about her personal life, and you never hear the person she is talking to acknowledge a word she is saying...

I wanted to send her this but my boss said it might not go over too well...

Please, oh please, STFU!!!!

1. That's part of why I'm EXREMELY office-culture-phobic.
Whenever I'm in the presence of that kind of thing I just think "Is this what I'm spending my one and only life on?"

3. Understood. Sometimes I live with it too. But it's.... a driving force in my life.
Really, ever since my first part time job as a teen when I had to listen to some lady who nebver shut up talk for 20 minutes straight about which Budget Gourmet frozen lunch was better, why, and why others were not as good. It's like my phobia about the suburbs. I get sweaty and my heartbeat accelerates if I have to be a part of it for too long.

4. Join the pain
I've got a chronic whiner around the corner. I have turned my headphones up to the point of hurting my ears to try and drown her out. I've also requested to be moved. But since she's the company gossip queen I do get some relief when she's standing in other people's cubes whispering, it takes up about 3 hours of her day. I now eat lunch at my cube (like right now) just to get some peace while she's in the lunch room whining about all the things she has to do that are 'totally stupid.'

5. The thing that kills me is that the three women directly
around my cube have said in not too low a voice "Does she ever shut up" and "who gives a fuck" and she still does not get the message. I think she just likes to hear herself talk...

Sorry about the whiner - and treat your ears kindly.

Don't you wish there were some way to just eliminate all of them? Of course, it would have to look like an accident

6. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that

"There must have been a slick spot on those stairs!"
