2. I hear ya!
I'm closer to Houston and I'm so sick of turning on the AC and then switching to heat. I have to check the weather every morning just to see how to dress my kid for school. And today, when I pick her up, it'll be cold and her coat is at home.

This morning, light jacket. Tonight, sleeping with fuzzy socks on! :)

yesterday I picked fresh asparagus out of my bed and was in shorts and sweating doing garden stuff

today there's 3" of snow on the ground when I get up and the windchill is 20 degrees

and I forgot 3 VERY important chores outside that HAVE to get done before the lows tonight

I bundled up and braved it, but geez!

5. Cold front hit about 5:30 in the evening...
By 9 it was time to turn up the heater.

The snow is now melting here. We finally got above freezing. Supposed to be 60 tomorrow.

we got the wind shift about 8PM here and the snow started then too

it's 40 here now and sunny, the snow is melting but I have to go into town tonight so I can get elected to be a delegate to the State Party Convention (DU Meetup in Albuquerque btw on 3/16) and it'll be 20 degrees, blowing 20 MPH and I bet icy as chit when I'm heading home

8. Yeah we just missed the storms, they developed east of us.
But it was snowing like crazy this morning when we got ready for work. Nice thing is the ground was warm enough the streets did not get slick.

9. The cold front and rain came in this morning.
The past three days it was shorts weather -- 78 degrees.

That's Texas for you -- totally unpredictable weather in the winter and spring.

That's before the six months of unbearable heat and humidity between April and October.

10. And which Concrete Sprawl are you in?
Austin, D/FW, San Antonio, Houston?

But that makes Texas fun, one minute it is nice and warm and the next you are an arctic explorer.
