5. Just went out for a walk after I already went out to do some errands. |
|
Was outside for about an hour total this afternoon. Quite nice. I wish I'd gone out wearing a lighter shirt though, I'm actually sweating a little now. :)

Although in the next 8 year we may move to Ithaca/Trumansburg, we really do enjoy the seasons.

9. I didn't realize you were in Rochester. |

One of my SILs is from there. Bro and said SIL got married there. Damned if I can remember the place. A country club, I think.
It was a really, nice time.

6. You don't have to be completely insane to live in Western NY... |

...but it helps. (So does alcohol.)

Western and Central New York laugh at snow, but those ice storms are brutal!

7. 57 here last night and alleged raging ice storm today |
|
we had light mist for a while and then some flakes but the raging ice storm never materialized. Hope you have the same luck. Week or 2 ago we did have a major melt one day and then huge ice and snow storm the next day. This quick alternation warming and freezing pattern has been repeated a lot this season. It's doing some major damage to the roads and causing serious issues with ice dams on roofs. I'm betting there will be quite a business in roof and gutter repair come spring. This is by far the oddest winter in my memory.
Stay safe tomorrow.
