The surgery was successful! |
|
Thanks to all of you who wished my husband well when he broke his kneecap a couple of days ago. He had the surgery this morning, and it went very well. He's now in a cast from his ankle to about 7 inches below his hip, and he's feeling much less pain than before the surgery. The next six weeks should be interesting!

3. Oh, isn't that the truth! |

My office is on the lower level of our home, and he'll be spending much of the next month and a half in our family room on the main level. In any case, I could use the excuse that I didn't hear the bell ;) I'm guessing that I'll be getting good glut and calf workouts running up and down the stairs. Hooray for silver linings!

I hope he continues to mend nicely on course. I also hope you won't get too worn down taking care of him in the process!

I'll be sure to take care of myself so that I can take care of him! He's reminding me of the six weeks that he took care of me when I broke my foot this summer :) Part of the deal with 25+ years of marriage.
