9. FAT = Fresno Air Terminal
For years, we called one of our bubble-butt, obnoxious chief pilots "Fresno" .. to his face! He never caught on! Airline pilots can be brutal.

8. Depending on the usage, KILG might help too.
For example, at this NOAA website KILG and "Translate" would get you the latest weather (METAR) at Wilmington, Delaware.

Seriously -- from Philly to Wilmington is only about an hour... but there are tolls!!! Delaware even gets you for ENTERING Delaware after coming over the DMB.

11. How the fuck are you driving from Philadelphia to Wilmington
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 10:57 AM by LynneSin
Seriously - are you crossing over into New Jersey and then driving down to the DMB just so you can pay a toll.

I knew you were nuts but just this proved it!

(BTW - you know I adore you!)

14. Yes but even from New Jersey to Wilmington the only tolls you pay....
ARE NEW JERSEY TOLLS

Oh and that fee NJ has to pay to leave their state - all the neighboring states charge them.

15. But on the Delaware Memorial they charge you on the Delaware side
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 12:49 PM by CreekDog
...doesn't really matter to me though.

i remember as a kid traveling from Florida to New Jersey and usually went through Delaware to avoid some DC traffic. The tolls were worth it in that case.

my fixation on Delaware is more a lounge thing than anything else. it's just fun. :pals:
