Just watched a great ST: TNG. Ask me anything! |
|
It was the one where Picard goes back to France and visits his brother. After he has been taken over by the Borg and he is emotionally fragile...
He has a mud-fight with his brother and accepts the fact that he is human and flawed. What a great scene. I actually got weepy. 2 great actors! Great episode!

7. And Picard's "uncle" in that episode comes back a few years later |
|
to play a young Picard in "Rascals".
I thought that was kind of cool!

I loved how he was able to mimic Patric Stewart so good

9. He really did mimic Stewart well, didn't he? |
|
It was great! The shirt tugging, the walk, the speach pattern - had it all down really well!

3. I taped it to watch tomorrow |
|
But I've already seen it. Even a repeat of TNG beats the hell out of most daytime programming around here.

6. One of their best episodes |
|
And the only one that never showed the bridge!
I also weep when Picard breaks down - it has always had real emotional ties to my own life, but especially after being in 9-11, it has tenfold the meaning. I always cry when I watch it.
One of the best written episodes of the series - very human, very truthful, very real, and I think most everyone has a palce in taht story to find themselves.
And that what writing - good writing - is all about.
