Thoughts about 37.......Happy Birthday!

I have sat and read the thoughtful comments to me (thank you all). I appreciate each and every one. I am so glad I can share my birthday with my fellow DU'ers. All of you are some of the most intelligent amazing people that I have been blessed to meet. Thank you for the support and thank you for your thoughts.

I woke up this morning embracing 37, Its not a huge change for me. I have been in my thirties for some time now. LOL. But I looked at the thread that my husband posted with pictures of me through the years and smiled/cringed. I feel more beautiful physically and stronger as a woman then I ever have at any point in my life. My god did I look like that at 25? LOL! The most recent pic is the one he has on his tag line (TSS) and I am so happy I am here wearing my own shoes so to speak. I would not go back. Even if I could change it. For those that read this that are younger...enjoy the rush of youth it truly is fleeting. Be young at heart and wise like your elders. It will not come all at once. Trust me...it will not. The answer is not how fast you can achieve, but rather what you learn through the marathon. But please drink a few Mojitos and dance to some great music in the process. Make love with abandon on the beaches and hold the hands of those close to you. You cant go wrong.

Knowledge/experience go hand in hand with life. I absolutely believe that we as people can bring so much to the table in our own thoughts and our own experiences through time. We all have a common thread.
