I used to love Five-0. When I was growing up, I hardly ever missed an episode. Saw several episodes a few years back, thought it didn't "hold up" very well thru the years. Came across as heavy handed and kind of preachy. Maybe I expect more from a police show now after NYPD Blue and Hill Street.

Notice how there are fewer and fewer consistent bad guys on most TV shows nowadays? Most of them are from fantasy, SF or other some such show. Some shows do have "arc" bad guys, but few have a whole classification as "main bad guy" of their own.
