It's not supposed to be snowing in TX!
On Sunday afternoon, I was tempted to turn my A/C on. That very same evening, we get SNOW! In Texas! In March! Tuesday afternoon, it's almost 70 degrees in the afternoon. Now, this afternoon, we've got ANOTHER snow/sleet event coming down on us.

This is TEXAS, for Pete's sake! I should be in shorts beginning my summer tan-- but noooo! Here I am writing a memo for my co-workers in case we're forced to open late due to ice tomorrow.

(Although I am looking forward to watching Lost tonight with a backdrop of snow off my balcony...)

1. Oh, yeah, it's snowing big time here in the DFW area.
They didn't predict this, but it's beautiful, and it'll be back in the 70's this weekend.

2. DFW-- that's where I am.
DFW-- that's where I am. No windows in my office so I can't really see what's happening out there, but I'm leaving in app. 25 minutes-- so life is good (cold-- but good). :)

3. I feel your pain. I am in Maine and yesterday we had a warning for
snow, sleet, rain and thunderstorms. What is up with this weather??

7. But... it's Maine...
But... it's Maine-- doesn't it snow in Maine until July and then starts back up again in August?

20. It's my husband's convention.
I go there almost every year (missed a few recently). I have to catch up, but know how to relax...

13. I shoved a lot of snow off my car when I left work this afternoon. We had those big fat
ChristmasCard type showflakes. It was so pretty. Best of all, no glaze of ice under it so it came off the car quite nicely. Soaked my feet walking around the car though.

Long slow but thankfully uneventful drive home.

Had some hot cocoa, and a little DU and in a bit I will cook dinner.

A cozy evening ahead, but I am not looking forward to the morning.
