I do. I can't do without it. My favourites include "Faking It", "Ground Force", "Cash In The Attic", and "What Not To Wear", etc. etc.
What about you?

7. We have it on in our house more then any other channel.... |
|
love it all. The Office kicks major ass, My Hero (The hero used to be a priest in Father Ted, I liked that show better then My Hero) Changing Rooms..Carol Smilie is so hot! She used to be the British letter truner for their version of Wheel Of Fortune. Ground Force before Allan Titschmarsh left, Monty Python, and Keeping Up Appearances.
Love the Beeb!

10. And, whenever Novak shows up on CNN I always switch to BBC America. |
|
Not to mention...whenever Junior starts giving a speech about WMD's or nukular weapons.
But, I tune in at other discretionary times, too.

15. I used to until they cancelled EastEnders. |
|
BBCA is run by an American with Philistine tastes in television. First they cancelled the daily showings and had the 2 1/2 hour omnibus on twice a week, then only on Sunday afternoons, then it was moved to SATURDAY afternoons (I guess Sunday was too convenient), then it was cancelled because nobody would stay in the house from 1 to 3:30 on Saturday afternoons to watch a soap (we used to tape it).
It's exactly what NBC did with Star Trek in the 1960's. What do you do with a good show with a small but loyal following that you don't want to fool with anymore? Put it in a really shitty time slot, and cancel it at the end of the season using poor ratings as an excuse.
Since BBCA cancelled our favorite soap, we hardly watch that channel anymore. We ALMOST cancelled our cable altogether. Who wants to see re-re-re-re-reruns of some home decorating show where they paint the walls cranberry and the furniture tangerine and say that's tasteful and up-to-date? If you like gardening and home decor, there's several channels devoted just to that already. I doubt the British watch nothing but Changing Rooms/Ground Force all the time.
Sorry to poop on your thread, but I liked BBCA a lot better when it was about what they were watching OVER THERE.

....it's not just because ms. tigerbeat is in the "i'm a BBC american" commericals.
"the office" and "coupling" are intensely funny shows.
