Well, I achieved my previous number 1 in May/June of 07 (visited Australia and New Zealand)

- visit all the National parks in the US (and lots of the recreation areas, historic parks, and anyplace managed by the National Parks Service)
- revisit all the places I visited as a child especially (but not limited to) Turkey, Syria, Switzerland, Holland, and Germany (Spain is this summer) plus add to that list most everywhere in Europe especially Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, Central America, and South America.
- get SCUBA certified (summer of '09, maybe)
- relearn Spanish and become fluent (working on this one)
- learn to pilot a plane

I don't mean that to be boastful - I actually feel more lame about it than proud. I just try to live in a way that I wouldn't have a lot of regret if I up and died one day.
