My Cat Doesn't Seem To Understand Claws Yet
and keeps getting stuck. I just had to literally remove my shirt to free her. Is she just claw challenged or what?

1. I wish our little Sunny would forget he has claws
I think it's cute when he bats at my hand, but he always has his claws out when he does it. I keep saying "Keep the claws in the paws!", but he just won't listen! How old is your cat?

2. 9 Months. I Posted Here When I Found Her (Saved From Coyotes)
Really a great cat and she does bat softly at first and only puts the claws out if ignored for long enough. But when they are out she almost always gets stuck!

Still working on getting the dogs to accept her. It's been a very slow process but she is braver than me with it.

3. Awww- that's great of you to have saved her!
Our kitty Morrissey would get his claws stuck too - mostly on the rugs in the bathroom. I think he's better now about not getting them stuck when he kneads.

4. Sure Hope She Learns
I'm a bit worried she may do it when I am not here to help her.

5. I Wish You Could See This
The dog just stuck his toy under the door (I keep them separated for obvious reasons) and they are both playing with it (pawing it) under the door. Too cute.

8. my little girl is like that
the boys never had a problem, but I have to extricate her - usually from my shirt. She's cute, but bless her, not too smart.

9. Why don't you just clip her claws?
I have to clip Tom and Huck's periodically, especially Tommy's cuz when he reposes on my lap, he likes to do the kneading thing.

10. One of ours was like that
I would hear growling in the living room and find her caught on the drapes. The dumb part is that it kept happening. She outgrew it...I hope.

11. Make sure you say a big outch if she ever scratches your hands. That way it will
not be any fun for her. A kitten - sounds like hours of fun.
