interesting things to do on a first meeting/date with a person you met on internets:

the park/botanic gardens
the zoo
a museum/art gallery/major exhibition
bookstore

these things not only provide entertainment and activity they provide something to talk about that is neutral yet allows you ways to find out what makes the person tick. Seriously, if you are wandering through the art museum, and you stop at a painting and you both make the same smartass remark about the work of art you know you have some potentially great compatiblity there..or you are both awestruck by the same thing.

Plus you get to people watch in situations like that and that is tons of fun .

I found my awesome spouse on the 'net.. We are happily married, and we are so much alike, it's sometimes freaky.

I turned to the internet site after trying and failing other forms of IRL dating... and I found someone that I had been looking for right away. The ironic thing was he found me and I found him on the SAME DAY - and we both were really picky in our criteria... his search turned up only me and mine turned up only him. Another freaky think was he worked only three blocks from where my apartment was, but we would have never met if it wasn't for the internet, as we were in a big city, and likely passed like ships in the night previously.

If you've found someone you click with and who makes you happy, I say TOTALLY GO FOR IT!!!
