I'm cynical about damn near everything now.
Example:
Our former vet (we have no pets now) takes in puppies and kittens for adoption.
He gives them their initial shots, cares for them, and gives them away free, to good homes.
He is a terrific vet and a really nice guy.
I like him a lot.
And yet I thought, he's also creating a whole bunch of future paying clients.
That's pretty smart.
And how cynical is that kind of thinking?
I'm hopeless.
