I've got a new, large flat screen monitor, and the internets are almost unreadable now |
|
:wow:
Is there something I can do to make my computer adjust to the size of the screen, instead of just being stretched out? I wonder what this will do to CivII :scared:
TIA

2. You probably need a new video card that will support the resolution. |

3. Check your video resolution in the display control planel. |
|
Assuming you're using Windows XP, right click on the empty desktop, choose "Properties" from the popup menu, choose the "Settings" tab on the properties menu, and set the resolution slider as high as it will go.
If this still doesn't do the trick, then you need a new video card that will display the maximum resolution of your new screen.

:hi:
You can also go into the "Appearance" tab on the same properties menu and enable "Clear Type" that sometimes makes onscreen fonts nicer to read.

8. Did your monitor come with a cd? |

There may be a program on there to remedy this.

I now have a 24 inch monitor at 1920 x 1200 resolution. Full screen on anything doesn't cut it. Windows (not the program itself) makes it lovely and I can have 2 or 3 things open at one time and see them all.
