It's not that I mind-I really don't. She's very gentle about it, and it's a cool concept to consider. I just wish she wouldn't decide to do it at 4 in the morning.

4. The Nashville Cat likes to put her face right up next to mine and

quietly Meow to me. I meow back, and we end up having a very nice round of pillow talk.

It's usually a very informative conversation, too!

14. The 3 AM part is pretty close to mine's MO.

She waits till I go to bed and a minute or two later, just as I'm drifting off, there she is. She'll look at me for about a minute and if I don't respond, up comes the paw. Very slowly and very deliberately, like she's not sure what will happen, she just barely touches my face. Even though I'm dying to just go to sleep, it's so cute I just have to give in and pet her for a few minutes. As soon as my hand touches her the motor comes on and she's in heaven.

At least she's considerate enough to leave it at that for the rest of the night. She's blowin' Z's at 3AM.

I keep a food bowl and a can of her favorite food next to the bed so I can easily feed her without my waking up too far.

But she does it even if the bowl is full of fresh food.

I know that is really weird, but that is what he does when I am sleeping. I think that he is just trying to get me to open my eyes and pet him. Too bad he is nocturnal and I am not!!
