Town's Centenial T-Shirts (Climax, Minn.) Banned In Schools
<snip>

CLIMAX, Minn. (AP) -- Showing town spirit in Climax is cause for punishment in this Minnesota town.

Shirley Moberg, superintendent of Climax-Shelly schools, said T-shirts bearing the town's slogan "Climax -- More than just a feeling," are inappropriate because of the sexual innuendo.

About a dozen students wore centennial T-shirts to school this week in protest, and one girl was sent home Wednesday for refusing to turn her shirt inside out.

School officials had said nothing to students wearing the shirts until recently, when a teacher wore it to school and a person complained. The shirts are no longer allowed to be worn at school, she said.

Climax, a town of 270 near the North Dakota border, adopted the "More than a feeling" slogan in 1996 for its centennial. The slogan was used in advertising and promotions, and the T-shirts have been around for years.

4. Used to be a jizz mopper
Worked in a porn shop with video booths. Never heard about a union, though.

5. If a freeper type says that this is another case of losing "common sense"
point out that they demand living in a "black and white" world, where there are no shades of gray.

A boy scout was suspended years ago for bringing a knive to school in his backpack. It was part of the dinner set. Trouble was, the school had a "no weapons" policy. Was the boy scout "being prepared" (for any situation for informal dining) or "not being prepared" (to follow the rules)?

A scout is:

Trustworthy
Loyall
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
and
Reverent

I guess that "Obedient" must not totally apply to obeying the laws (a GRAY AREA!).

6. Does a school near you ban "Billabong" gear?
A school here in Wis. did a few years ago, on account of "bong" being right in the name.

As a form of protest, some students wore homemade t-shirts saying "POTATO", so see if they'd be banned because, well, you can't spell POTATO without P-O-T.
