Sigh. I am wanting to look for a new job again.
I am an Executive Assistant to two Attorneys now. My passion is Recruiting and Staffing. (I promise I am not an evil HR Wench)

An opportunity may be presenting itself that I have been waiting for, which is a Staffing Specialist in the Admistrative field. I could do this job in my sleep, and I would love the challenges that it would present. I am so bored right now, and I hate being bored. I recieved a phone call from a company that I temped for, and they have a Staffing Specialist opening right now. I love the Area manager, she and I are actually from the same home town, so when we did work together briefly, we got along very well. I got a call from her this morning asking if I were looking for a new position. I was not, but since I realize that my current company probably does not have growth potential, I am interested in working in the field that I love.

My day now consists of putting out fires caused by people too careless to double-check. I was not told that this position would consist of cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day but it does. On friday, I had to clean up the biggest mess I had ever encountered because people who offered to help suddenly realized that they wanted to go home early. I want more from my job. I sometimes feel like a babysitter and a maid.

I don't know how to proceed.

1. Sounds like you should go for it
Even though there's always that small chance of bad to worse, if we all lived by that fear we'd never get anywhere. :)
