I've seen Olbermann like this before, and it was comical implosion. He's a relentless baseball fan and a couple of times in LA early in his career I saw him lose it when someone he was interviewing, or who was appearing on the same show with him, made negative remarks about baseball. Instead of a rational counter argument he so was incensed it was like a petulant little kid who insisted on screaming every syllable. And that's what his facial expressions and tone have reminded me of, during his nightly anti-Hillary tirades. Tomorrow night should be priceless, unchecked fury.

The ironic aspect, from my standpoint, is it has made me shift toward Hillary. I supported Edwards and really didn't have much of a lean in the Hillary/Obama matter, until Olbermann and MSNBC, other than Dan Abrams, insisted on disgracefully slanting the race.

Olbermann was always a lousy sports handicapper. That's what people need to understand. He seldom gives before-the-fact opinion anymore, due to his reputation for ineptitude, and dread for more supportive evidence. If he's pushing Obama I'm hardly confident that's the correct pick, in terms of a successful presidency.
