but I never did. If you're talking about the park itself, check out http://www.pointbuzz.com There is an active Employee Lounge in their community forums. If you're considering a job at CP, this is where you might find some answers.

4. I used to go there in the 80's
I loved that park. When I moved to Florida, there was nothing down here that compared to that park. Not even Islands of Adventure (Universal). A few of my friends worked there over a summer in the 80's and they loved it. We got in for free one of those summers. Good times!

6. I have a friend who worked there one summer in the 80s
She didn't make any money-they charged pretty much what you made in rent to live in the dorms there. They work hard, anyone who has ever been to Cedar Point can say how clean it always is, and how high their overall standards are.

If a kid is interested in entertainment, and performs in the shows there, it is good experience and a good way to make contacts, despite the low pay, however.

7. Best job I ever had!
I worked there one summer when I was in High School, all the rest of the kids that worked there were in College, I was a bus boy in the cafeteria and the dish washers were winos that would work until payday and then they would disappear, the Tommy Dorsey band would play for the dances and they had a lot of fire works, they had separate barracks for the boys and girls across from each other, and one of the older guys had a pair of binoculars and would watch the girls with them!

8. I worked there in 76, 77
Just wondered if there were any old buds out there in DU. The work was boring and underpaid. But everybody partied like crazy. Good times!
