I love my brother...

I posted last week about my hubby breaking his kneecap, having surgery, and being laid up for 6 weeks. We're now all of 10 days into that stretch - god help me! Anyway, my brother called and said "I'm guessing there are some things that you might need help with around the house with *Mr MANative* laid up. Would you like me to come up for the weekend and give you a hand?"

I love my brother. :) :loveya:

I'll buy him a case of brew for every day he's here! And thankfully, he's a lot more handy than my darling hubby, so it's a REAL help.

5. What a nice brother!! Hope you have time for a nice visit in the midst

of trying to get things done, and best wishes to Mr MANative as he recovers!
(And to you too, as you cope with his recovery! Hubby was out of work for one year and nine days, after 8 surgeries in 9 months for flesh-eating bacteria...I thought I was going to go INSANE...)

7. And it's only been 10 days!!!

Can't imagine what it would have been like to do 1 year and 9 days (and I noticed your specificity!) What makes it worse is that I work from home at least 4 days each week, so the constant "togetherness" can be challenging. And he's a big guy - 6 ft and 250 lbs - so while he's struggling to get around, I'm struggling to help him.
