Family photo scans- Round Two (dialup warning)

Most of these photos I'm scanning are not marked in any way and were permanently glued to a felt backing which is disintegrating. I've cut the photos away with scissors and will remount them in a less destructive way and return them to the family when this project is done.

Many of those in these photos are doomed to remain anonymous faces, I'm afraid, which is a real pity.

Note: Aunt Wilma is still alive and resides in a nursing home in Indiana. She's in her high nineties now. During WWII she was a Navy nurse. She remained a surgical nurse for many years after.

4. Most of these are in reality B&W pics

I convert them to RGB color space and then add the sepia tone as an artistic gesture- also because it seems to tame stark white backgrounds and it separates other features.

Either that or I just think it looks cool... :evilgrin:

It's good practice for when I start getting paying clients.
