28th Anniversary Tomorrow
Yep, we got married on the Ides of March, 1980. 8 months later, the whole country went into a tailspin from which it hasn't recovered! The beginning of the idiot king presidency.

So, what should we do? (Remember my wife is undergoing treatment on her back, so no skydiving or anything!) And, we can't do anything with others, because we'd have to stab a friend in the back! After all, it's the ides.

We'll probably just grill out and get some crab legs from the seafood market and stay home. But, if you can think of something fun, i'd love to hear it.

1. Wow, one day
and four years separate our anniversaries! :)

Congratulations! We got married on March 14 because it was the first Sunday of spring break that year so our anniversary always falls on spring break -- still significant because I'm a teacher.

Whatever you decide, have fun! :hi:

2. My Wife Was A Teacher, Too
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 09:50 AM by ProfessorGAC
She taught special ed for a little under 30 years. She retired a couple years back. After all those years of BD, ED, LD, it just wore her out. Time to pull the plug.

On Edit: Duh! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

4. I admire her!
I moved on to community college -- no discipline problems. :) But what would we do without teachers like your wife? Thanks! :hi:

3. I am also undergoing treatment for my back (herniated discs), so I feel her pain
I'd love to go roller skating or bowling, but those are out right now. I think your plan for grilling sounds fun. Is she more comfortable sitting or standing? I'm most comfortable lying flat on my back, but have to get up sometime!

Anyway, Happy Anniversary, and hope you have a lovely day!

5. Mostly She Can Get Around
And, the treatment seems to be having an effect. So, she isn't housebound or anything. But, like you, bowling would be right out! (And i love to go bowling, but then i'm pretty good at it!)

I just thought since my OP that we might get some tilapia, and do the steak, and then still do some crab legs and have the food for both weekend days. That might be fun!

6. I can think of some fun things...but it would get your thread locked.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.
