...paid. But I don't get president's day. Weird. But I get a TON of work done on president's day because the phones are so quite. So it's all good, I guess.

Maybe he is going to say "no more overtime."

Or maybe he is going to announce some new system.

Or that he got a new job and you will have a new boss soon.

He is going to ask you all to cut back on supplies,expenses, etc.

Maybe he is going to invite you all out to lunch for a good job done!

Does remind me of an experience with a telecom a few year back.
The company goes bk
So we listen to the "just hang in there"
we work extra hard to make it work.
So the company emerges from chap 11. They call a big celebration
video conference with all the offices hooked up.
About 1/2 way thru the video confernece, I look at my boss and say
"Sounds like we are not included in their plans doesn't it"
Sure enough, while we were watching the link up the emails were coming in.

15. Well, I hate to tell you my February 20th experience. I was told OVER THE TELEPHONE

that we were not needed as VOLUNTEERS anymore.

The service is reportededly going belly-up on June 30, 2008.
