Is it better to have a big or little ignore list?
I hear all these people talk about how big or important their ignore list is. I don't have one and feel left out. Is there something wrong with me?

2. I never use it... well, one time i did.
I was big into the Draft Gore movement and, as you might remember there was a certain poster who was vehement toward anyone of my political position. it got so bad that i put her on my ignore list...

but when i realized that doing that meant that i could no longer read her stupid posts- so i took her off, read some, then put her on again, then took her off to see if she was still being stupid and sure enough, she was. so i put her back on and the cycle continued and became just too much work.

and i said to myself- "leave her off, and if i want to read her i can, otherwise i'll just ignore her".

so nomad, just ignore all those people who talk about how big or important their ignore list is. much less complicated that way!

:hi:

5. I think it depends on how it enhances your DU experience.
I have 2 on my Ignore. One is a Forced Ignore, so I don't have a say in that. The other one is by choice simply because everything this self-righteous douchebag posts is infuriating. His tombstone is forthcoming, of that I'm sure. Some folks probably have the opinion of a dozen or two dozen DUers and do the same thing.

6. I'm up to 48, however, all but one of them can still PM me

mostly it's to hide new threads, as their replies in other threads typically aren't as inane as the stuff they start themselves.

One of them is forced, Mike Teevee
