For 2 days, and for reasons i won't go into here, i have been suffering from some terrible pain in my right shoulder blade and back, which radiates down my back as well as to my elbow.

Tonight, other things are making that look downright pleasant.

I have a temp of 102°F (neither Tylenol nor Advil doing any good), can't stop shivering and shaking, the aching is spreading throughout my back and shoulders, and i have the sore throat from hell.

Going to the doc tomorrow, but if i end up with a monster headache to go along with all of this, i'll be going tonight by ambulance. Too many symptoms of something that could be really, really nasty...

Meanwhile, i'm trying to stay away from the others, so if i'm contagious, they won't get sick.

Pray if you do, send good thoughts if you don't...
I am a miserable human on the verge of tears, and need a little propping up.

tonight, please go to the ER. The terrible pain in the shoulder blade and back, along with the fever was an infected ruptured cyst for my daughter. I almost lost her because of it. I wish you well.

Didn't have a way to get to the doc this morning (called several peeps, and nobody's home), so i'll try again tomorrow, or i'll take the bus.

It's looking like this is a case of strep/tonsilitis, along with a nasty chest cold...

25. Problem here is that i don't really know any of my neighbors...

The bus thig isn't that big a deal... it runs pretty close, but i do have to go early, because they run an abbreviated schedule on Saturdays.
