Miss C-P took the most amazing pictures of our wedding. I will only post a few because, well because I'm a attention whore, and they are pictures C-P took and she deserves the credit of her most excellent work. Thank you CaliforniaPeggy, and CaliforniaHubby for helping us with our wedding!

4. Part of the ceremony involves white and yellow cornmeal.

Here is a picture of me and Ali after we passed cornmeal to those who chose to join our sacred circle.
We first ate a symbolic pinch of cornmeal, I ate yellow cornmeal, and Ali ate white cornmeal. We then walked to the opposite side of the circle which has males on my side and females on Ali's side. We each handed a bowl of the "proper" cornmeal for them to taste, and pass till the bowls made their way back to us. We then mixed both of the meals and shared the mixture symbolizing the two separate individuals becoming one, sharing life, nourishment, fates. The picture is of me mixing my yellowcorn meal in Ali's bowl of white. Moments later we were man and wife.

23. We reserved the spot (Palos Verde Interpetive Center) in December.

At the time So. Cal. was going through one of the rainiest, coldest winters in a long time. We could only hope that it would not rain, or be obscured by the usual fog bank, or blown out by the wind, that location is the windiest in that portion of the Los Angeles area.

The weather was perfect, even the wind which was blowing as we drove up stopped as we arrived. Amazing.
