Baby, I've been here before.
I used to live alone.

It is a cold and broken Hallelujah.

it truly is.

2. Her's is my favorite
I have so many covers of it but her's gets me. I saw her sing it a couple of years ago, the one time I saw her live, and I cried from the start to the end of that song  it is my favorite song and it was such a big deal to see her do it.

3. The entire album, Hymns of the 49th Parallel, is packed with gems.
Buy the CD, or download it from iTunes, it's well worth listening to.

7. I've got ten or eleven renditions of "Hallelujah" on my iPod; including one for jazz trumpet.
This one is my favorite, though.

8. Wow. Thanks for the link.
K.D. Laing is, in my opinion, the BEST female pop singer today.

She has a marvelous set of pipes, and her timing is impeccable.

(Edited to add: I must be living under a rock. I never heard of "Halleluja" until I caught Jason Castro (he of the dreads on AI) singing it.
