Hi Heidi, hi CMW!! We are in your backyard - up in Graubünden Canton, skiing at Samnaun. WOW, the conditions were phenom yesterday, I hear more snow today?

I am addicted to Switzerland. LOL.

I was in Klosters the week before the slopes opened. And I have extended family who work at the resort, too. x( :P

3. How was the skiing there?

Since we drive from Munich, it's about 2:20 door to door. I've heard about other areas in Switzerland, but Samnaun is very convenient. I look forward to discovering more of this beautiful country this summer and of course next winter :)

I think there might be skiing until May in the higher elevations. :hi:

It's part of Davos Ski Area, correct? 307 km of trails. WOOHOO!! Next year will give that a try. I see a CH vignette coming. :D

We woke up to snow on the palmetto trees this morning! I'm glad you're enjoying the conditions at Samnaum, but we do not want snow in Ticino. :scared: :yoiks:

Wow, just checked Google maps, you are almost 250km from us in Samnaun!! That's a bit of a hike. :D

9. Thanks, yeah yesterday was one of those days to package.

Surreal.

Today skiing totally SUCKED. Couldn't see a foot in front of you, white-out conditions and no depth perception. Couldn't tell how steep the slope was or WHAT was in front of me. We made two runs for 37euros (50USD) and called it a day. :(
