Around here, everything's open today. And I, too, am in the mood for baked ham and scallopeds, but we're going to the in-laws' for dinner and that means boiled ham, boiled potatoes, and over-boiled asparagus. Needless to say, my MIL ain't exactly Julia Child.

I can sympathize, though. I'm going over to my sisters, who will also be having overboiled veggies, but the ham will be roasted, and dry no doubt.

She did make the most amazing paska, though. We'll see if her holubchi turned out okay. I gave her your tip, but she doesn't like anything spicy. :eyes:

4. Oh yeah, the Clamato thing

Just a little bit is plenty, or maybe she could try the plain kind. My mom used to always use a mixture of tomato soup and chicken broth on them, but I was never fond of that concoction.

Glad to see you here. As if you didn't know, for the love of God, don't go anywhere near GD:P. It just keeps getting worse and worse there.
