Hunting Easter Eggs, Western NC Style.
We went to my dad's house for Easter Dinner, today. He told us we could hunt for eggs, but would have to put on waders. He has eight running ducks and two Peking ducks, whose eggs he gathers and eats.

But, they don't lay them in nests or even on land. They drop the eggs in the shallow end of a lake behind my dad's house. So, we put on waders, and walked out into the pond until we found about a dozen laying on the bottom of the pond, about 1 foot and a half deep. We fished them out and took them in to divide amongst ourselves.
