Someone please put me out of my misery....
I have the worst case of bronchitis I've had in a long time.

Fever, chills, horrible body aches, and coughing up green chunks. And it figures, I've got a major deadline at work on April 3. Thank goodness I've been kicking butt at said new job since I started.

I can barely swallow, and sleep is out of the question. Thank Goodness I finally got some antibiotics today. Anybody got a cough drop?

1. I'm so sorry!
My favorite cough drop was always Luden's Cherry. I wish I had some to share! Take care!

12. I'm doing fine.
Just counting down the days until next Tuesday when I have an appointment at MD Anderson. I'm anxious to get started on treatment and put this behind me!

Thanks for thinking of me! I hope spring is on the way and you feel better soon! :hi:

7. Aw thanks!
Yup, reprehensor is here, and he makes a most excellent nursemaid, making me soup and tea and getting the humidifier up and running. Hugs to the hubby too. This crap sucks.

6. There's all kinds of crazy shit going on out there.
I've been coughing for, seriously, 5 weeks tomorrow.

I hope you get better soon, and I love the Ricola drops. Did I spell that right? Oh, who cares.

8. 5 weeks? Aiyee!
Take care of yourself. Might wanna check in at the doctor just in case. I hadn't had this for awhile, but knew exactly what I needed. Antibiotic and SERIOUS cough syrup.

11. Last night I actually resorted to a hot watter bottle between my shoulder blades.
I also drank a hot toddy (lemon, honey and a shot of rum - it was pretty gross). I actually felt better. I've been sick for almost five weeks, starting with the flu, then bronchitis and now we're not sure (pneumonia of some kind?). I had a chest x-ray today. Anyway, I can totally sympathize. If you have a hot watter bottle, give it a try. It did help me more than I thought it would. Hope you feel better soon.

13. Was wondering where you were!
No hot water bottle, but I do have a heating pad, which I've been using when the chills kick in. Then the fever hits again and I have to strip off everything and lay on top of the covers.

Here's hoping we BOTH feel better soon!
