"Ghost Hunters" in Gettysburg
Some very interesting footage there in Grant's room and upstairs. I was hoping for even more, though.

I was not at all surprised about the high EMF levels in that place. I want to get one of those gauges one day and check my house, my dad's, and my Nana's.

4. I wish they had the thermal camera with them when they had the footsteps into the room...
And it sat down next to Jason.

12. Absolutely. I feel they really need to carry around one of everything with them as it
often seems they don't have the right tool at the right time during those unexpected "visits".

5. So basically it comes down to this.
There are actually ghosts or the Ghost Hunters are lying. I don't see any other way for that picture to have moved. Well unless it was rigged by the hotel owners.

8. Grant said he made a point...
of checking out the frame for magnets and such. I am always worried that someone is going to try to play with them as a means to get publcity for their business -- much like what happened on the Queen Mary with the bedding "moving".

6. It's like the chair and frame move to face each other
Did they say who was in the frame?

7. I watch every episode...
I think last nights had a lot of good stuff in it -- of course, it is never enough for me -- I am always left wanting more to have happened. :D

I think it is the tangible things I find most interesting -- the EVPS (espeically in direct response to a question) and the movement of objects. I do appreciation the "feelings" they get and the personal experiences they have (such as Grant getting touched/burned on the back of the shoulder) but I like the things I get to experience and evaluate myself.

I think the three things I have found most interesting is the form leaning over the banister in the night house, the metal folding chair moving in the attic in season one, and the sound recorder's equipment flying up and hitting him.

I have no idea what the phenomenon really is that they are experiencing, just that I find it all very interesting.

Over the years, I have walked into three spaces where I was overwhlemed by a feeling that something terrible had happened there -- I would love to go back with some tools and check it out further. :)

21. My bro and I always felt creeped out in his old bedroom and figured something
was bad there, but as an adult I don't feel that way. It could have had something to do with fixing the wiring, understanding that that room is colder due to its location, or just being a grown up. Not sure.

10. they could do several episodes in Gettysburg proper
at least 1 on the battlefield, 1 at Gettysburg College, 1 in the town, like at the Jenny Wade house.

My ideal episode is to see them walk into a room, see a spirit standing/sitting the room, the spirit turns to look at them, and then either makes a noise or makes a movement towards them. Something that makes even Jason and Grant mess their pants and run from the room.

11. LOL G came close at Fort Mifflin when he saw that face. I agree, though, that
they could have a team stake out Gettysburg for months. It's said to be a massive magnet for the paranormal. (I suspect mostly residual activity, but there might be some intelligent haunts as well. It certainly seemed like it at the hotel when the picture frame moved.. assuming it wasn't rigged somehow.)

14. it did look like whoever was moving the picture
was sitting on the chair. Perhaps it's something they did often? But yeah, I went to the college and in the four years there, I had two personal experiences and was in the same area at the time, but didn't hear it, at another experience. My roommates and I smelt cigar smoke outside our apartment and we looked around and saw no one else around, let alone smoking. I was camping on the battlefield at night and felt someone or something run past me. A bunch of us went onto the battlefield at night to watch a meteor shower and one of my roommates wondered away from us and the next thing we knew, he frantically ran back to us, got into the car and never came back out. We asked what happened and he said he heard "Help me!" three different times at three different locations like whatever it was was circling him. :scared:

13. EMF? What's that?
Anyway, Grant wasn't at Gettysburg. He was outside of Vicksburg in Miss. at that time convincing Gen. Pemberton to surrender the town.

19. Forgot to mention, too, that when I was talking about Grant's room I was
referring to one of the ghost hunter guys who has that name. Sorry for the confusion. :)

16. I remember one time I was at the Gettysburg battlefield...
...out of nowhere I saw a Northern calvaryman galloping into the woods on a horse.

Most likely it was just a re-inactor heading across the park to his next interactive q-and-a. Still, part of me wonders if it wasn't something more supernatural....

about a couple of "re-enactors" who turned out to be apparitions...
