1. My dear Parche!
That is a nice tidy sum!

What would I do with it?

Well, I have a good friend who could really use some money, so I'd probably give some of it away!

Just bank the rest...

I'll have anything you'd like to give me to drink!

And your birthday poem is still waiting!

There is a passion in the human heart that is called aspiration. It flares with the noble flame, and by its light Man has traveled from the caves of darkness to the darkness of outer space. But when this passion becomes lust, when its flame is fanned by greed and private hunger, then aspiration becomes ambition-by which sin the angels fell."

4. Hey there.
If I had $4000.. I would buy a laptop as I kind of need one right now... it doesn't have to be great, just functional. I'd give the rest of the money away to charity.

And I'll have a sprite, please. :)

7. What to do with unexpected money?
Do something wonderful for people you love; already planned in the form of steak and lobster for 2nd parents and consulate lady.

Next do something big, a vacation you normally wouldn’t take, a laptop like Aspiegirl said, if needed, then bank the rest. It is too easy to fritter away “free money”; unless you have a good financial backbone already, save over half of that money.

Congrats again on your win! :applause:

15. pay off debts
either...
1. pay down amount we owe Mom- she loaned us the money to pay the bankruptcy Trustee
2. pay down our small mortgage
and...
3. buy $200 in grocery gift cards for a very poor friend.

Although we live at 125% of the poverty level, we have plenty of "stuff" and Hubby is too ill to do much but sleep. I don't need money, I need a respite worker so I can take a vacation.
