Dad (I always thought it was Taft, but he wasn't inaugurated until March 1909, and Dad was born in November 1908!:

She was born in 1925, and she shared many memories of life during the Depression. I think that's why she became a liberal. She worshiped the ground he walked on!

Harry S. Truman. I never thought about it until now, but my parents were born under a Democratic President... My sister and I were both born under Repuke rule.

This guy is Wilhelm Marx, Chancellor of the Weimar Republic when my dad was born in Hamburg in 1927.

Maybe Truman was president when my mom was born - I'm really not sure... she was born in '44. What month did Truman take office? Was it not until 45? Jeez... I feel like an idiot for not knowing all of this blllllllrrrrrrrrrp

I knew it was after the election of '44 (obviously) but no more than a few months into '45. At least I remember some things from history.

Yeah, my Dad is a almost five years younger than my Mom. She's almost 58 and he just turned 53, they just celebrated 31 years together the day before yesterday.

Dad was born in '36, so that would have been during FDR's first term.
Mom in '46, so she was a Truman baby.

Ironically, both were staunch conservatives.

I was born during LBJ's elected term.
