Diluting with clear, cold water and blotting continuously also helps.

3. Yes, if you pour a little pyramid of salt on to a wet spot on a carpet |

the liquid is absorbed up into the salt. Then buzzard should try the things in the first post. Resolve carpet cleaner worked very well when a friend spilled red wine on white carpeted stairs at a rented vacation condo.
