News Burn Out? Try a 15 second news check, it works..
A suggestion to avoid burn out. My local all news radio station is right wing crap. So, most of my news comes from the computer.
But, every once and a while, I want to know if something bad has happened. A 15 second news check, (at most) solves this problem. If something horrible has happened, the station always switches to constant streaming ...you pick it up right away..something is going on.
Even when a very minor disaster starts, they do it. Like there was a train wreck on the other side of the metropolitan area, and they switched to constant coverage..(no one was killed, some major injuries.)

..Nevertheless, if I get a commercial, or sports, or weather, or the usual nonsense, I know that there isn't a major world shattering problem, and I can go on. There are always the usual things, but that is not what I am looking for. Sometimes I can get in and out of the news in 2 or 3 seconds. It helps with serenity...and that is what we really need today..
